How Does a MagnaClean Work?
The heating water circulating around your heating system picks up bits of sludge (or magnetite) which can build up in the heating system. A MagnaClean attracts all these bits of debris with a strong magnet as the water flows around it, preventing a build-up of sludge in the pipework or in the boiler.
Where will the MagnaClean be Installed?
Ideally, the filter will be attached along the pipework after the last radiator but before the boiler. Although, they can be installed anywhere along with the piping but installing on the return pipe before the boiler is the best practice.
